Races July 18, 2022 Continued Good Run for Suárez Earning his Eighth Top-10 Result of the 2022 Season. Date: July 17th, 2022 Event: Ambetter 301 (Round 20 of 36) Series: NASCAR Cup Series Location: New Hampshire Motor Speedway (1.058-mile oval) Format: 301 laps, broken into three stages (70 laps/115 laps/116 laps) Start/Finish: 19th / 9th (completed 301 of 301 laps) Point Standing: 15th with 479 points Notes: Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suárez finished ninth in Sunday’s 301-lap NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon. It marked the third consecutive race that Trackhouse Racing has placed both Chevrolets in the top nine positions. Suárez now owns eight top-10s in 2022. Sunday saw the Trackhouse Camaros come alive in the final stage driving from mid pack over the race’s final 92 laps that ran without a caution. The flat mile track was tough to pass and both drivers tried to take advantage of track position throughout the race. Suárez started 19th and held his own in the first stage finishing 16th. In the second stage, each raced in the top-15 when Suárez tried a two-tire stop that moved him to second with about 35 laps remaining in the stage. But the old tires proved too big of a disadvantage and Suárez finished Stage 2 in 18th. That set the stage for long run success in the final stage for both Trackhouse Racing drivers. The NASCAR Cup Series returns to action Sunday at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 SLAM! Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing: “It was an OK day. Once again, we maximized what we had. I felt like our speed on the long run was probably one of the best out there; but on the short runs, it wasn’t. We were making adjustments and trying to help the short runs. We’ll just have to keep working. It was a solid top-10 for the No. 99 SLAM! Camaro ZL1. It was a step in the right direction for our short track package.”
