Date: May 21st, 2023 Event: NASCAR All-Star Race Series: NASCAR Cup Series Location: North Wilkesboro Speedway (0.625-mile oval) Format: Two Stages (100 laps/100 laps) Start/Finish: 1st / 7th (running, completed 200 of 200 laps) Notes: Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suárez finished seventh in Sunday’s 39th-annual NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro (N.C.) Speedway. Suárez started first, after he won Saturday’s heat race, and led the first 54 laps before fading to third at the halfway mark behind cars that took on new tires. In second half, he held his position until late in the race when his tires lost grip and he dropped to sixth. Sunday’s race marked the first NASCAR Cup Series event at the .625-mile track since 1996. The next race is Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600. Fox will broadcast the race at 6 p.m. EDT. Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Trackhouse Motorplex Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing: “It was a good night for us, lots to be proud of. I never would have thought the race would go like that and we would have only changed tires once. It was fun to lead those laps. Hopefully we can do that a lot more in the upcoming races.”
