  • Suárez started 35th. All three Trackhouse Chevrolets looked strong in the early going. Suárez finished the first stage in 36th after a blistered left front tire forced a pit stop midway through the stage.
  • In the second stage, Suárez finished 21st despite contact from another car on lap 68 that sent the No. 99 into a long slide.
  • The NASCAR Cup Series returns to action on Sunday, June 15, on the road course at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City for the NASCAR Cup Series first-ever points race in Mexico.

Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Jockey Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing:

“It was an OK day for the No. 99 Jockey Infinite Cool Underwear Chevrolet team. We had speed on the long run, but on the short runs, we were getting destroyed. We were not super-fast on the straights… we struggled a lot on the straights, more than I was expecting. Overall, we rescued an OK day, but we need more.”
