NASCAR returned to Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill., for the first time since 2019. With seven races remaining in the regular season, Suárez sits 11th in the championship. Suárez, driver of the No. 7 Modo Casino Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Spire Motorsports, earned his 12th top-15 and 16th top-20 finish of the 2026 season. After battling balance issues through the opening two stages, the No. 7 team made adjustments that improved the Chevrolet for the Final Stage. Suárez climbed as high as 11th in the final 102-lap stint, but ultimately finished 14th. Next up, the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 12. The Quaker State 400 will be broadcast live on TNT beginning at 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The 20th of 36 points-paying races on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule will be broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
