Races August 12, 2025 Suárez Earns Top 10 Finish With Two Races Remaining in Regular Season Date: August 10th, 2025 Event: Go Bowling at The Glen (Round 24 of 36) Series: NASCAR Cup Series Location: Watkins Glen (2.45-mile road course) Format: 90 laps, broken into three stages (20 laps/20 laps/50 laps) Start/Finish: 19th / 7th (completed 90 of 90 laps) Playoff Standing: 29th with 393 points Notes: Trackhouse Racing’s Daniel Suárez finished seventh in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series road course race at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International. Suárez seemed to get better throughout the race using a slightly different strategy than the leaders and running in the top-10 much of the final stage. Suárez turned top-five lap times in the final laps to earn his fourth top-10 finish of the season. In Stage 1, Suárez held his own before pitting under green and finished in 23rd. All three Trackhouse Racing drivers pitted early for a better starting position in the second stage. In the second stage, Suárez used a slightly different strategy than most, pitting during a lap 30 caution and finishing the stage in 12th. The NASCAR Cup Series returns to action on Saturday night at Richmond (Va.) Raceway. Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Freeway Insurance Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing: “It feels nice to get a good finish for this No. 99 Freeway Insurance Chevrolet team. For the last couple of months, I feel like we’ve had decent, top-10 speed. We just haven’t been able to execute. Today, we were able to execute a decent race. This team did a good job all day. Our Chevrolet was pretty good – I don’t know if it was good enough to win, but it was good enough to be fighting in the top-10 and that’s where we ended up.”
