Daniel Suárez led the team with a 23rd-place result. Suárez fell to twelfth in the driver championship point standings with three races remaining before The Chase field is set. After qualifying 33rd in the No. 7 Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Suárez struggled to find grip throughout the race, but worked his way into the top 20 ahead of the final stage. He was able to race into the top 10 prior to the final green-flag pit stop of the day, but a continued lack of grip resulted in Suárez falling the 23rd in the final laps. Next, up the NASCAR Cup Series will race under the lights at Richmond Raceway on Saturday, August 15. The 400-lap race at the .75-mile short track will be broadcast live on USA beginning at 7 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The 24th of 36 points-paying races on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule will be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
