Date: October 12th, 2025 Event: South Point 400 (Round 33 of 36) Series: NASCAR Cup Series Location: Las Vegas Motor Speedway (1.5-mile oval) Format: 267 laps, broken into three stages (80 laps/85 laps/102 laps) Start/Finish: 17th / 20th (running, completed 267 of 267 laps) Point Standing: 28th with 553 points Notes: Trackhouse Racing’s Daniel Suárez finished 20th in Sunday’s race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, despite facing two pit road penalties for equipment interference and speeding. Suárez slipped back in the final stage and ran mid-pack before finishing 20th in the Freeway Insurance Chevrolet. In Stage 2, Suárez maintained his track position and completed the stage 14th. In the first stage, Suárez started 17th and found himself 16th at the stage end. The NASCAR Cup Series returns to action Sunday at Talladega (Al.) Speedway. Only three races remain in the 2025 season. Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Freeway Insurance Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing: “We had a pretty good Freeway Chevy on the long runs today but had a few errors that put us behind. We had to battle from a lap down and use some strategy to try and bring home a strong finish but just didn’t have enough time in the end on a short run to get a better result.”
