It was a relatively uneventful race for both Trackhouse drivers as track position and the timing of caution flags determined the fate of many drivers. Suárez started 31st and made gains in the early going. The Mexico native pitted late in the stage and finished the stage in 30th. Suárez finished 25th in the second stage after a caution fell a few laps after he pitted. The 99 team took the wave around to return to the lead lap. The Cup Series returns to action on Sunday at Sonoma (Calif.) Raceway. Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Choice Hotels Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing: “That was a tough race today.
