  • Up until the finish, the Trackhouse Chevrolets were two of the fastest cars on the track.
  • Suárez started 11th and moved to sixth in the opening laps.
  • Suárez remained at the front of the field with both drivers choosing to pit before the end of the first and second stages to gain better track position.
  • The NASCAR Cup Series returns to action Sunday at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.

Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Freeway Insurance Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing:

“Very disappointing. We got hit from behind on the restart and got a lot of damage. It felt like everyone was wrecking everyone. I hate it because we were going to get a top three finish today. We were pretty good all race and I think we were where we wanted to be in the end.”
