Raceway (.75-mile oval) Format: 400 laps, broken into three stages (80 laps/155 laps/165 laps) Start/Finish: 27th / 16th (running, completed 399 of 400 laps) Point Standing: 23rd with 160 points Notes: Daniel Suárez finished 16th in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Richmond (Va.) Raceway. The finish moved Suárez to 23rd in the season standings after nine races. Suarez started 27th and finished 24th in Stage 1. In Stage 2, a timely caution on lap 142 about 13 laps before Suárez would have made a scheduled pit stop jumped the No. 99 up to 10th. Suárez kept the No. 99 Chevrolet at the front of the field finishing Stage 2 in 15th. Suárez held his own in the final stage, that saw only one caution, and finished 16th. The NASCAR Cup Series return to action Sunday April 25 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. Fox will broadcast the race at 2 p.m. EDT.
