  • In the final 13-lap shootout, Suárez raced as high as fourth amid two- and three-abreast racing, but he could not make a bid for victory.
  • A seven-car accident at the start-finish line damaged the No. 99 and left him with the 10th-place finish.
  • Suárez started the race in the back of the pack before working his way up to the front.
  • In the second stage, Suárez made a late charge to claim sixth place despite a suspected engine power issue.

Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Tootsies Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing:

“I don’t think our Tootsie’s Chevrolet was fast enough to win today, but we were up there battling and good at pushing others. I’m pretty proud of my team’s effort. We’ll keep working and getting better.”
