Speedway (.526-mile oval) Format: 400 laps, broken into three stages (80 laps/100 laps/220 laps) Start/Finish: 30th / 29th (running, completed 399 of 403 laps) Point Standing: 18th with 179 points Notes: Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suárez finished 29th in Saturday night’s rain-delayed NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Both Trackhouse Racing Chevrolets carried the GoPro livery Saturday night. Rain and snow flurries delayed the start of Saturday night’s race by an hour. The NASCAR Cup Series returns to action Sunday night at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway. Suárez started 30th before falling off the lead lap in the closing laps of Stage 1. He lost a second lap in Stage 2 as the team attempted to help the No. 99 turn better in the corners. Adding to the challenge, the race ran without caution until 90 laps remaining providing little chance to work on cars or employ any strategy to make the cars better. Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 GoPro Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing: “That was a frustrating night. It was pretty hard to pass and with no cautions we didn’t have much chance to work on our car. We just couldn’t get it to turn in the corners tonight like we wanted it to.”
