  • Both Trackhouse Racing Chevrolets rallied in the final laps after it looked like they would be relegated to mid-pack finishes.
  • With five laps remaining Suárez restarted 18th and drove to eighth.
  • Suárez started eighth Sunday in the 100 plus degree temperatures. The Kubota driver ran in the top 10 nearly all of the first stage but elected to pit late and finished 18th.
  • In the second stage, Suárez took two tires allowing him to climb as high as fourth before holding on to 10th.
  • The race took a turn for the worse during the pit stops between the second and third stages.
  • Suárez had a pit issue that cost him several spots, and dropped to mid-pack.
  • Suárez lost a lap after a late race spin, but regained the lap and rallied for his ninth top-10 finish of the season.

Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Kubota Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing:

“It’s appropriate our car had Kubota on it today because it took a heck of a beating and still came home with a good finish. It was an up-and-down kind of day for the No. 99 Kubota Chevy team. I felt like the car had potential, but we just continued to work on the balance and try to make it a little bit better. We had a couple of issues on pit road. I made a mistake coming onto pit road on a green-flag stop. I felt like the car was a top-10 car, and overall, it was a good day for our team.”
