Daniel made his fifth career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series start at ISM Raceway this past weekend in Arizona.

He started Stage 1 from the 28th position and made his way to 16th position early on in the race but the No. 41 Ruckus Networks Mustang lost power. After the crew made an adjustment to the battery, Daniel was able to continue and ultimately finished the event 23rd.

“We had some sort of electrical issue and I lost power, and that put us behind a lap while we worked on it. We had a good car on the long runs, but once we got caught a lap down and with all of the green-flag runs we could just never get back on the lead lap. The good news is the car had a lot speed. Unfortunately, we don’t have the result to show for it, but we’ll move on to California next week.” – DS
