With four laps to go in the stage, Suárez restarted in the rear of the field, finishing the stage 25th.

Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 99 Freeway Insurance Chevrolet Camaro for Trackhouse Racing:

“We had a good Freeway Chevy today. We had to play the fuel strategy game all day like everyone else. The first big accident of the day we had a really close call, but managed to avoid any major contact. We got shuffled out late in the race and had to work hard to regain come track position in the end to get back for a 12th-place result.”
