Motor Speedway (.533-mile, dirt oval) Format: 250 laps, broken into three stages (75 laps/75 laps/100 laps) Start/Finish: 34th / 25th (completed 250 of 250 laps) Point Standing: 19th with 170 points Notes: Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suárez finished 25th in Sunday’s third annual NASCAR Cup Series dirt race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway. The results put Suárez 19th in the 2023 point standings. Both Trackhouse drivers lost several positions in a last lap accident that saw Suárez drop from 18th to 25th when he was spun by another car. Saturday’s heat race left Suárez with a 34th starting spots on Sunday. The Monterrey native struggled to pass cars on the crowded half-mile track finishing 29th in the first stage. In the second stage, Suárez spun on lap 97 then pitted during a caution for repairs before quickly returning to the track to finish 25th. The next race is Sunday, April 16 on FS1 at 3 p.m. EDT at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. We made adjustments, but could not get our car the way we needed it to pass a lot of cars.”
